HCP Promotions Senior Marketing Manager Cardiovascular

What you will do

In this vital role the HCP Promo Senior Marketing Manager Cardiovascular (Repatha) one of Amgens flagship and priority brands will not only have a significant impact on the continued and future success of our US Cardiovascular business at Amgen but also the lives the CV patients that can benefit from Repatha treatment.

In this vital role you will be responsible for strategic of critical HCP Promotional communications planning and tactics to help deliver on the commercial success of Repatha with Primary Care Physicians (PCPs). This role will be evolving and evangelizing an indepth understanding of PCPs to shape a cohesive communication plan to strengthen disease state awareness drive deeper brand engagement and ultimately drive PCP adoption and patient acquisition and persistency through oneCardiovascular and oneRepatha approach. This role will be leading a variety of critical initiatives that support field sales activities to deliver on Amgens customer centric vision.

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Colead overarching PCP strategy and to ensure that brand/business objectives are met across branded and disease state education initiatives
  • Orchestrate content development aligning with insights and overall accountability for breakthrough creative assets from brief to launch including collaboration with field team for feedback and input
  • Design and execute innovative health care professional promotional initiatives and tactics in alignment with brand strategic imperatives
  • Helping to guide strategic decisions and ensuring flawless of promotional campaigns and programs for PCPs
  • Developing promotional messages programs and sales force tools for PCPs (which may include visual aids emails speaker programs and congress materials)
  • Work with Commercial Insights team to develop measurement plans and drive market research for materials and initiatives
  • Coordinating the work of multiple external vendors and internal departments including marketing market research legal regulatory medical affairs segment marketing corporate compliance and consumer marketing ensuring responsible and effective communications
  • Leading projects through the legal regulatory and medical review process
  • Managing program budgets and developing metrics to ensure success of the promotional programs
  • Engage with Key Opinion Leaders and the global marketing team to inform creation and flawless roll out of high impact high value marketing tools
  • Collaborate with sales training to ensure effective impactful world class training on promotional tools and programs

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree and 2 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Or

Masters degree and 4 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Or

Bachelors degree and 6 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Or

Associates Degree and 10 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Or

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong marketing acumen with a solid grasp of marketing strategy market research segmentation brand positioning and tactical plan development.
  • Translating market research into effective consumer campaigns or programs. Previous experience with clinical data a plus.
  • Exhibiting passion and empathy to build meaningful experiences with HCPs by understanding their needs and desires.
  • Strong bias for action and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
  • Ability to exercise strong judgment and live up to the highest ethical standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and selfawareness of leadership style
  • Ability to build productive partnerships and collaborate effectively in a matrix organization.
  • Experience coaching and developing talent

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to relevant skills experience and qualifications.
