Location Options: Kalispell MT (inperson) or hybrid remote. 5075 of the time onsite in Kalispell MT.

What Youll Do

As a Medical Dosimetrist at Logan Health youll:

• Design optimal treatment plans ensuring precise radiation dose distribution while sparing critical structures.

• Utilize advanced imaging systems to contour structures and develop treatment plans.

• Oversee and assist with simulations tumor localization and creation of custom immobilization and beammodifying devices.

• Collaborate on the implementation of treatment plans ensuring accuracy in delivery and patient safety.

• Play a critical role in quality assurance and the technical aspects of radiation safety and equipment calibration.

What Were Looking For

To excel in this role youll need:

• MDCB Certification in Medical Dosimetry required. ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy preferred).

• Minimum of two 2 years experience with radiation safety principles practices current rules and regulations of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and other regulatory agencies required.

• Demonstrated ability to interpret criteria and develop treatment plans as defined by relevant treatment protocols required. Algebra and trigonometry mathematical skills required. Introductory calculus preferred.

• Demonstrated proficiency with clinical guidelines current medical terminology information and communication systems required.

• Minimum of two 2 years experience in the technical aspects of radiation oncology medical physics and the ability to develop optimal treatment plans preferred.

• Minimum of two 2 years experience in health care informatics to include the resources devices and methods to acquire store and retrieve data preferred.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact professionalism and diplomacy.

• Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed
