Job Description
Position Summary: The successful candidate shall have a minimum of 12 years of experience as a Concrete Finisher.
Responsibilities:
- Operates a screed to level freshly placed concrete according to grade and depth specification
- Smooth concrete surface using either a hand trowel long handled bull float or powered float
- Cut joints/grooves in concrete with edging tools to help control cracking
- Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
- Monitor the wind heat and cold as it affects the curing of the concrete
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Must have good vision stamina good hand eye coordination and an ability to estimate size and dimensions
- Skill in smoothing finishing freshly placed concrete applying surface treatments and restoring concrete surfaces
- Required to perform tasks that include heavy lifting climbing balancing stooping kneeling crouching crawling and reaching
- Must be able to work outdoors in areas that are dusty or dirty
- Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies

Must possess the ability to adapt to different personalities and management styles
Team player and with good interpersonal skills
Reliance on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
