Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Site Readiness Engineer (SRE) with expertise in CI/CD automation and Azure cloud technologies. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring deployment readiness across our infrastructure automating deployment processes and maintaining optimal site performance within our cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support application deployment andinfrastructure provisioning.
Develop and enhance automation scripts to streamline deployment processes and minimizemanual tasks.
Configure manage and optimize cloud resources in alignment with security standards andbest practices.
Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve deployment and sitereadiness issues.
Monitor site performance identify bottlenecks and implement improvements to enhancesystem reliability and efficiency.
Participate in oncall rotations to provide production deployment support and incidentresolution.
Create and maintain technical documentation for deployment processes systemconfigurations and troubleshooting procedures.
Conduct site readiness assessments and validation tests to ensure infrastructure andapplications are production ready.
Implement and enforce Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools such as Terraformand ARM templates.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to deployment failures infrastructure provisioningand application performance.
Qualifications
8 years of experience in site reliability engineering DevOps or similar roles
Strong proficiency in CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or similar
Solid experience with Azure cloud services including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)Database services and networking controls
Handson experience automating deployment workflows and infrastructure provisioning
Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform ARM templates orsimilar tools
Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell Bash Python or similar
Experience with GitOps tools like ArgoCD or Flux
Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes)
Strong understanding of networking principles and Azure networking services Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments
Must be able to read and speak fluently in English
Must be able to work at least some time in the US or EU time zone
Preferred Qualifications
Azure certifications (Azure Developer Associate Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or AzureAdministrator)
Experience with monitoring tools such as Application Insights ELK or Grafana
Experience with log aggregation and analysis tools in particular Elastic and Prometheus
Understanding of high availability and disaster recovery concepts
Experience with containerized applications with a Windows OS
