As well he or she will be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA).
The University of Alberta Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry Department of Medicine Division of Neurology in partnership with Alberta Health Services invites applications for a Neurologist to be based in the community with hospital opportunities at University of Alberta Hospital. Located in Edmonton Alberta Canada the Faculty has been internationally recognized as among the worlds top 50 medical schools and as one of Canadas premier healtheducation institutions.
Key accountabilities of the FFS Neurologist will include but will not be limited to call and ward duties at University of Alberta Hospital or the Royal Alexandra Hospital teaching of medical students postgraduate medical education and fellows in Neurology as appropriate. The Division of Neurology works in teams and therefore ability to function in multi and interdisciplinary teams is essential.
The successful applicant will be expected to apply for a Clinical Academic Colleague Appointment in the Department of Medicine University of Alberta which will be considered under a separate process through the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry.
