EquipmentShare is Hiring a Warranty Administrator
EquipmentShare is searching for a Warranty Administrator for our corporate office in Columbia MO to support our team as the department continues to grow.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintain records and prepare monthly reports as required or requested
- Responsible for performing various warranty audits as well as assisting in work order audits
- Maintains accurate library of vendor information as it relates to warranty
- Manage the process for short pay and denials reconciliations with the warranty OEMs.
- Responsible for maintaining AR aging and communication with individual OEMs
- Follow up with OEMs to keep AR to under 90 days
- Maintain an accurate filing system for all service department correspondence documentation review and distribute vendor warranty information (manuals letters etc. and maintain accurate library of vendor information as it relates to warranty
- Maintain records and prepare monthly reports as required or requested
- Perform various warranty audits as well as assisting in work order audits
- Reviews and distributes vendor warranty information (service manuals letters etc.
- Perform audits and correct any errors in a timely manner.
- Assist in establishing filing procedures with new OEMS as well as getting us set up for warranty with new OEMS
- Assist with all monthend processes
- Submit claims of all values
- Maintain relationship with OEM Warranty team
- Hold monthly OEM meetings keeping track of actions items and ensuring followup.
- Regular collaboration with the Regional Service leadership to provide trends with the product
- Support the OEM and ES Corporate Service leaders to support campaign and safety updates.
- Hold Quarterly shareholder meetings reporting on warranty trends and best practices.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail excellent proofreading and organizational skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communications skill fluent in English
- Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages fractions addition subtraction multiplication and division quickly and accurately
- Great multitasking time management problem solving and decision making skills
- Excellent problem solving skills basic accounting principles knowledge research and investigative skills
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Requires high degree of collaboration with Regional Fleet and Regional Service Managers
- Knowledge of small equipment and construction equipment preferred
- Proficient in Excel Word 10Key by touch Outlook Smart Sheet PowerPoint Type 50 60 wpm and 10 Key by touch
- Understanding of credits and debits in partnership with the Accounts Payable team is necessary
- Construction equipment rental industry or dealership experience a plus
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Education
- At least 3 years of related experience
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer
