ABOUT US

The L2P program involves volunteer fully licensed and trained drivers from the community providing supervision for young drivers referred to the program through local community agencies helping remove barriers and providing a pathway towards positive role models developing independent life skills and improving employment prospects.
The learner drivers are matched with a volunteer supervising driver who works with them to achieve their goal of 120hrs of on road driving experience.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements For The Role

  • Current Drivers licence and good driving history
  • Good communication skills
  • Flexible and patient
  • Enjoy working with young people

Mandatory Requirements Of The Role

  • Complete The Salvation Armys volunteer registration induction and training process
  • Criminal History (Police) Check
  • Working with Childrens Check
  • Driver History Check
  • VicRoads Supervising Driver/Mentor training (or willing to obtain)

  • Various shifts available
