THE ROLE
Using discretion and judgment researches specified industries or global regions to develop specific company and stock recommendations for the portfolios managed by MFS.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Independently conducts research in assigned area to develop specific company and stock recommendations for the portfolios managed by MFS.
- Using research sources such as company literature and financial statements and various business publications works independently to structure develop and communicate investment recommendations.
- Attends conferences travels to company facilities and interviews corporate management at all levels.
- Acts as the inhouse expert on designated area of coverage.
- Facilitate team decisions by making final buy and sell decisions ensuring timely and orderly trade and overseeing sector construction. All ideas that enter the portfolio are driven by the rigorous bottomup analysis accomplished by the sector team analysts who are highly cognizant of the persisting sector fundamentals.
- Performs additional duties as directed.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 5 Years of relevant Equity Research experience.
- Ability to travel frequently.
- Ability to work and think independently strong numerical and communication skills.
