The Position

Working closely with Principal Investigators associated research staff and onsite staff the Clinical Trials Coordinator will lead and support clinical trial research activities conducted by Wollongong Private Hospital.

This will see you ensure a high quality professional and efficient research service is consistently provided in accordance with good clinical practice and appropriate clinical trial regulations.

The role is dynamic and challenging and presents an opportunity to work with a highly engaged group of doctors! Permanent fulltime opportunity.

Your Skills and Experience

To succeed in this role you will demonstrate the ability to lead and work in a multidisciplinary health care team environment with a strong commitment to high professional standards in all aspects of work.

You will also demonstrate:

• Degree qualified in Nursing Allied Health or Research
• Strong experience in a research or clinical environment including experience in the conduct and coordination of clinical trials is highly desirable
• Demonstrated understanding of clinical trials methodology and knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (ICHGCP) requirements
• Strong understanding in the importance of confidentiality and data integrity
• Excellent communication skills and ability to develop rapport with patients and their families in stressful situations
• Computer software informatics data collection and/or media skills
