Position Summary
The Startup Program Manager shall support development and manage the startup program. Supervise and coordinate activities for Startup and Commissioning.
Position Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage/review startup schedules.
  • Develop and/or review administrative procedures for the startup/commissioning program.
  • Coordinate and develop commissioning systems with Startup Managers.
  • Coordinate with Startup Mangers to develop internal communication documents weekly & monthly report.
  • Reviews P&IDs design drawings and specifications to fully understand designated project areas and precommissioning systems and subsystems. Understands structure of turnover packages as defined on markup P&IDs.
  • Ensures that all commissioning activities are captured in the project systems and works with Document Controls to prepare turnover package documentation. Responsible for project final documentation and ensure turnover to customers.
  • Conduct regular analysis of processes and procedures making adjustments when necessary.
  • Coordinate commissioning with construction sequence to expedite completion of construction and promote a logical commissioning effort.
  • Develop overall startup and commissioning plan including startup safety guidelines test procedures resource and activity schedule operational requirements 3rd party requirements and handover procedures.
  • Work with project manager to coordinate participation of vendor representatives during commissioning.
Required Qualifications
  • At least 10 years of Startup and Commissioning experience.
  • Ability to travel as required (approximately 25 of the time)
  • International Travel
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to produce work with a great degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer reviewing reports and managing documentation.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions on uneven terrain.
  • Office setting for planning reporting and meetings.
  • Field visits to power plants substations and job sites with exposure to noise heat dust and electrical hazards.
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a workauthorized visa.
  • Successful candidate will need to satisfactorily complete preemployment drug screen and background check
