Job Description

Capital Automotive Group is seeking a highly organized and experienced Logistics Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of ourautomotive parts warehouse. This role is responsible for managing dispatchers and drivers to ensure efficient and timely delivery of parts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics warehouse operations and team leadership.

What youll be doing:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of dispatchers and drivers.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of automotive parts to dealerships and customers.
  • Develop and implement efficient routing and scheduling for deliveries.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper stock management.
  • Maintain compliance with safety regulations company policies and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide training and coaching to team members.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize workflow and improve service levels.
  • Resolve operational issues including delays damaged shipments and staffing concerns.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports on logistics operations.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of delivery vehicles and warehouse equipment.

What were looking for:

  • Proven experience 3 years) in logistics transportation or warehouse supervision preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problemsolving abilities.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and inventory management systems.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelors degree in supply chain management or related field preferred.
