Job Description

We invite experienced Hematology/Oncology APPs to discover all that we can do when we bring healing hearts inquisitive minds and progressive visionaries together at Levine Cancer Institute team with LCI Gaston in Gastonia NC.
With more than 25 cancer care locations we provide access to topranked physician expertise groundbreaking clinical trials and the latest cancer treatments across the Carolinas.
Position Details:
- Outpatient and infusion
- Survivorship acute and routine visits toxicity visits chemo teaches and infusion coverage
- Clinic is open Monday Friday; Schedule consists of 4 days/10hour shift or 5 days/8 hour shifts
- 2 Physicians 2 APPs
- Opportunity for chemo certification and bone marrow biopsy training
This APP functions primarily in the outpatient setting caring for a mix of solid tumor oncology as well ashematology patients and demonstrates appropriate critical thinking and interpersonal skills when working in a fast paced high acuity work environment. Qualified candidates will be able to perform thorough history and physical assessment.
Ideal Candidate:
- At least 1 year of experience in hematology/oncology working as an APP
- Effective communication (written and verbal)
- Willingness to collaborate closely with clinical team
- Current on best practice and standards of care
- Displays selfinitiative to learn
