As a member of the COLOSSUS Enterprise Planning and Management team you will support our customers evaluation of emerging technologies determining if and how their introduction into our customers information environment will meet existing and new mission needs. The COLOSSUS team provides SETA support for our customers strategic planning enterprise architecture investment planning policy and governance functions in addition to general SETA support to government leadership teams. You will work with members from across the COLOSSUS team as well as government FFRDC and SETA personnel and capability developer teams. Being on a small team supporting the emerging technology evaluation you will:
provide IT service and technology expertise across current and future technology domains (such as Hosting Networks Security Desktop/User Facing Services and Consolidated/Enterprise Management);
evaluate new services and technologies and make technologyfocused impact and gap assessments as well as recommendations in support of architecture trades regarding the integration of these services/technologies into the customers enterprise architecture;
develop and implement methodologies for technology needs and gap assessments development of analysis of alternatives and resulting recommendations;
conduct evaluation of emerging commercial technologies and IT services using empirical data engineering judgement and alternatives assessment and documents and delivers assessment results.
Also you may be requested to surge to support tasks and projects across the broader COLOSSUS scope according to your specific personal expertise and capabilities.
Required qualifications:
Information Technology (IT) domain experience within the Intelligence Community (IC) Department of Defense (DoD) or Federal Agency
Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly or willing to take a CI Poly
Bachelors or Masters degree(s) in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics
MS with 5 years or BS with 8 years of demonstrated performance related to the tasks above
Ability to excel as a member of a collaborative team through open communication transparency and flexibility
Ability to relate professionally with senior Government customers and colleagues
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desired qualifications:
NRO or IC experience
Knowledge of information technology research methodologies and sources
Knowledge of the Acquisition Process
Knowledge of Research and Development processes and procedures
Certifications related to functional responsibilities such as but not limited to Certified Enterprise Architect (CEA) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
Enterprise Architecture experience with previous exposure to DoD Architecture Framework (DODAF) and/or Joint Architecture Reference Model (JARM) artifacts
Knowledge and understanding of Intelligence Community service offerings architectures and information technology research and development areas of interests
