The Senior SAP Business Analyst serves as the information technology (IT) business partner for our SAP S/4 HANA application developing and configuring process in sourcing and procurement manufacturing planning warehousing and ship center operations. As a member of the IT group this position sponsors the ongoing enhancement adoption and support of SAP S/4 HANA in a compliant environment. The Senior SAP Business Analyst acts as the primary SAP liaison between IT and business stakeholders partnering with the Application Management Service (AMS) while collaborating with internal and external technical resources for successful daily operation and project deployments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead SAP projects and support the SCN BestCo team and consulting groups in the ownership of SAP S/4 Hana application including day to day operations and future projects.
- Develop design configure implement and support business processes including Manufacturing (PP) MRP Production Planning (PP/DS) Finance (FI/FO) Enhanced Warehouse Management (EWM) Digital Manufacturing Preventive Maintenance (PM) Quality Management (QM) and RF Device configuration.
- Build strategic relationships with senior partners and key stakeholders to understand short and longterm business direction.
- Provide support training and documentation for end users and subject matter experts for the SAP solution.
- Support mobile data entry application design and customization to improve inventory visibility.
- Support IT leaders and team members in the ownership of SAP S/4 Hana application including day to day operations and future projects.
- Maintain change control and quality related requirements to keep SAP S/4 Hana FDA CFR Part 11 compliant.
- Own relationships and manage resources with third party SAP Application Services Management (AMS) and implementation partners.
- Manage crossfunctional teams including budget project plans and stakeholder/sponsor updates.
- Lead requirement gathering and coordination efforts with internal stakeholders and thirdparty partners to develop requirements for SAP S/4 Hana and other applications.
- Prioritize business requirements in line with company and technology strategy influencing strategy when appropriate.
- Facilitate design sessions with stakeholders and technical team to define solutions.
- Create and manage enterprise application roadmap and help facilitate business strategy.
- Find opportunities to deliver technology solutions and define solutions to help SCN BestCo achieve its goals.
- Create and manage within the capital and operational expense budgets for enterprise application licenses maintenance and projects.
- Create and implement IT policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) when appropriate.
Required Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in information technology supply chain management or related field.
- 8 years professional experience as an SAP Logistics Supply Chain Manufacturing and/or Financial Business Analyst or similar position including configuration experience.
- Experience on a project team configuring SAP S/4 HANA (or Rise) in at least one successful SAP implementation.
- Experience in process manufacturing.

- Ability to understand business process throughout the organization and recognize interdependencies.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
- Excellent planning organizational and time management skills.
- Strong project management skills including deep understanding of PM methodology.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical solutions to a nontechnical audience.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts interest commissions proportions percentages area circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with internal staff and management. Ability to read analyze and interpret general business periodicals professional journals technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers clients customers and the general public.
- Must be able to demonstrate practical problem solving and trouble shooting skills. Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or masters degree in information technology computer science or supply chain management.
- Experience working in life science/pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Experience as a consultant or technology architect or lead in SAP specializing in logistics including sales and distribution materials management planning and warehouse modules.
- Proficient with ABAP programming debugging and technical analysis.
- Experience in Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PPDS) and/or Embedded Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
- Experience working with an SAP Application Management Services partner.
- Experience using SAP Solution Manager and/or SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Experience leading IT response to customer audit requests and requirements.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
