Billing/Collections Specialist
Location: Northwest Human Services West Salem Clinic
1233 Edgewater St. NW Salem OR 97304
Job Status: Fulltime 40 hours a week Monday Friday
YOUR ROLE:
As a Billing/Collections Specialist you will monitor patients/family selfpay balances contact patients regarding unpaid balances and complete the collection process. You will also perform standard medical/dental billing functions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual in English/Spanish required.
- Basic understanding of computers file systems and report logic.
- Communicate effectively and handle medical records in a confidential manner.
- Interact effectively and courteously with patients staff and insurance carrier representatives.
- Previous experience preferred.
