Job Description
As a Senior Project Manager with Maverc you will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing complex projects driving strategic initiatives and ensuring successful across multiple teams. Youll be responsible for managing project timelines budgets and resources while also collaborating with key stakeholders to meet organizational objectives.
- Assist in planning developing testing and documentingSearch Portfolio products.
- Applybusiness process improvement practices modernize projects and help with the acquisition process and reengineering of outdated methodologies and principles.
- Support agency teams in the development and management ofmilestonesgoals anddeliverablesfor each of the Search Portfolio products.
- Coordinate and rationalize CDAOs technical efforts to supportAI/MLenabled indexingsearch andaugmented retrievalof unstructured data sets.
- Stay informed on the latest AI system and software architectures and trends from design patterns toDevSecOpsandsystems architecture patterns.
- Developplansroadmaps andsoftware design strategies.
- Capture develop and reportreference architecturesand documentcompliance standards.
- Engage with mission teams to identify and evaluate prospective projects with potential customers within theDepartment of Defense (DOD).
Requirements
- Proven experience withAgile software development methodologiesand tools including experience in theProduct Ownerrole within theScaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Strong ability to identify key users and noncustomer stakeholders balancing the needs of all product stakeholders.
- Expertise in synthesizing requirements underlying feature requests and transforming them intouser storiesandtasksfor a product backlog.
- Experience ingroomingand prioritizingSCRUM team backlogs.
- Ability to coordinate product backlogs across development teams to ensure subject matter experts are effectively shared and product teams maintain velocity.
- Ability to analyze and recommend alternativetechnical and business approaches while facilitating engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines.
- Knowledge ofDevSecOpsand experience withCI/CDtooling.
- Experience working withsoftwareanddata engineersdeveloping products within containerized environments.
- Experience working withsoftware engineersanddata scientistsutilizing distributed computing environments forAI/MLandBig Dataworkloads (e.g.Apache SparkorDatabricks.
- Familiarity with modern software architectures likemicroservicesand current frontend frameworks.
- Strong track record ofactive learningandcreative problemsolving.
Education:
- Bachelors Degreeplus 57 years of relevant experience or
- Masters Degreeplus 3 years of relevant experience.
