PacAeros core businesses include an array of electronic connectors and housings for the worlds most extreme environments. PacAero is primarily located in Wenatchee WA with a remote manufacturing site Bonded Metals located in Sequim WA. Working together we employ proprietary technologies best practices engineering and specialized manufacturing techniques to produce hermetic connectors and electronic packaging that perform in the worlds most extreme environments. PacAeros products are hard at work in medical components such as cardiacfunction devices on key aerospace & defense programs in space and deep below the earths surface.
The Position:
PacAero has an immediate need for CNC Machinist. ALL EXPERIENCE LEVELS ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY. This position requires the employee to be/become knowledgeable in all areas of precision CNC machine tool use including the set up and operation of horizontal and vertical mills or turning centers.
Pay depends on experience level and shift. Starting pay for entry level without experience is $20.00/hr base. Individuals with experience will be offered above $20.00/hr based on previous experience market rates and internal rates.
We are looking for individuals interested in working off shifts (Nights MTh from 4pm to 2:30am; Includes a $2/hr shift differential weekend days FSu 5am to 6pm; Includes a $2/hr shift differential & hours above 36 count towards OT 4 stock hours paid per week weekend nights FSu from 5pm to 6am; Includes a $4/hr shift differential & hours above 36 count towards OT 4 stock hours paid per week).
Experience/Qualifications:
- Possesses positive attitude and a collaborative work style
- Aptitude for creative problem solving
- Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with all employees
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to work with a microscope the majority of the day
- Ability to recognize evaluate and respond to problems during the machining process
- Good written verbal and interpersonal communication skills with sound decision making ability with little or no support
- Blueprint reading skills including GD&T preferred but not required
- Willing to complete other duties as assigned
