Job Description
Cherokee Casino South Coffeyville is seeking an Environmental Services (EVS) Attendant to join our team. This team member will be responsible for maintaining a pristine and inviting casino environment. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning duties including vacuuming mopping restroom sanitation and cleaning gaming equipment. The Attendant ensures guest satisfaction by providing a clean safe and comfortable experience for all visitors.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks including vacuuming mopping window washing restroom cleaning trash removal and cleaning of office and backofhouse areas.
- Clean sanitize and disinfect gaming machines chairs tables doors toilets sinks and other frequently touched surfaces.
- Follow company guidelines for cleaning biohazardous spills and adhere to proper cleaning sanitizing and disinfecting procedures.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail in all work areas.
- Assist guests by answering questions and providing directions within the casino.
- Clean exterior areas of the property as needed.
- Operate heavyduty cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers vacuums and extractors.
- Participate in special cleaning projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 6 months of general work experience preferred or High School Diploma/GED.
- Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced highpressure environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
