Summary of the Position:
This is a position working on highpriority projects and initiatives that impact major business decisions and relationshipswith investors while collaborating with groups across Tishman Speyer. The Associate will provide essential diligence and research on investment vehicles and products coordinate outreach with other teams to respond to investor queries and prepare both proactive and responsive marketing materials. The individual must have strong interpersonal skills to interact and collaborate with teammates and other functions at the firm. Experience in research and investor due diligence processes is essential. The individual will work with various disciplines of the firm including Acquisitions Development Portfolio Management Asset Management Leasing Accounting Property Management Debt Capital Markets Compliance Human Capital Management and Design & Construction.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Relationship Managers to manage the due diligence process for potential investors including Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) and Requests for Proposal (RFPs) investor questions and investment tracking
Develop compelling external marketing materials for investor presentations and offering memoranda (PPMs pitchbooks teasers separate account proposals) based on a comprehensive understanding of Tishman Speyer the objectives of a specific investment vehicle and the nature of the target audience
Work with other disciplines at the firm as listed above as well as external resources in order to respond to investor diligence questions both at the time of investment and on an ongoing basis
Assist the Equity Capital Markets team in maintaining a database of current investment vehicle offerings the status of marketing materials relevant lists of interested investors and overall fundraising progress
Continually work to keep the group and firms diligence question database and marketing materials both firmwide and vehiclespecific up to date
Brainstorm new ideas to help the Equity Capital Markets team streamline investor requests and outreach whether in the form of marketing materials internal systems or otherwise
Skills & Qualifications:
46 years of finance/real estate/investment banking experience with at least 2 years in Business Development Client Services or Investor Relations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office software suite
Must display initiative good judgment in managing multiple tasks and strong problemsolving skills
Ability to work independently and proactively
Exceptional attention to detail and well organized
The base compensation range for this role is 125000 to $145000. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus as well as access to our comprehensive medical dental and vision insurance life and disability insurance 401(k) plan (with matching contributions) wellness benefits and all other benefits afforded to fulltime Tishman Speyer employees.This base range reflects a number of factors including but not limited to relevant experience skill sets and/or licensure required of an individual in this particular role. The base range is also specific to members of Tishman Speyers New York team as weve considered factors specific to this geography.
