Responsibilities Required to translate technical systems specifications into working tested applications. This includes: developing detailed programming specifications writing and/or generating code compiling datadriven programs maintainingSkillsExperience and Skill Set Requirements
The Resources will act as a subject matter experts on a variety of cloud and AI projects initiatives such as: Enabling and designing the Government of Ontarios clouds Azure AWS IBM Oracle and GCP. Designing and configuring advance security for existing and new cloud providers. Assist with complex setup of public cloud providers creating reusable patterns. Assist in updating and creating provisioning pipelines the Government Cloud offerings by writing and maintain a provisioning code base for infrastructure delivery as well as data gatheringreporting
Cloud Knowledge and Experience 50
Demonstrated experience enabling and designing the Government of Ontarios clouds Azure AWS IBM Oracle and Google clouds. This experience would need be with Cloud environments that are of the same scale as the Government of Ontario Cloud or BPS environments.
Communications and Customer Service 25
Demonstrated experience of working with customers/key stakeholders and using communication skills to resolve operational issues negotiate or document process related intelligence.
Analysis and ProblemSolving 25
Demonstrated experience with troubleshooting and resolving Azure/AWS/IBM/GCP/Oracle Cloud environments incidents and working with vendor partners.
Must Haves:
- Proven ability to work with complex SQL queries potentially hundreds or thousands of lines in length
- Proficiency with Power BI and DAX
- Demonstrated experience in Azure Databricks Delta Lake Azure Storage ADF Azure Analysis Service
- Create highly dynamic visualizations and metrics using Power BI
- Design and develop BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements
- Implement maintain and support BI solutions in Microsoft and other BI platforms
- Experience with cloud platform like Azure and working knowledge for cloud migration
- Experience with Microsoft Azure data analytics tools such as Azure Data Factories Azure Databricks Azure Synapse
Nice to Have:
- Prior public sector experience would be an asset
