Job Description
Visa Technology & Operations LLC a Visa Inc. company needs a Sr. Systems Engineer (multiple openings) in Highlands Ranch CO to
- Provide Infrastructure Operations and Production Support of container technologies and orchestration platforms.
- Perform Docker/Kubernetes deployment configuration scaling and management of containerized applications.
- Harden and secure the Kubernetes cluster with monitoring and auditing dashboards.
- Explain technical concepts and provide guidance to staff.
- Responsible for partnering with the Platform Engineering and Delivery Teams to deliver seamless infrastructure support for all Visa business lines.
- Work on the Security Remediation process (vulnerability assessment and patch management).
- Contribute to standardized operating procedures.
- Responsible for adherence of established ITIL practice such as Incident Change Problem and Release Management.
- Be scheduled OnCall to support the infrastructure and our systems.
- Position reports to the Highlands Ranch Colorado office and may allow for partial telecommuting.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications:
- Employer will accept a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a systems engineer or support engineerrelated occupation.
- Position requires experience in the following:
- 1 years of handson experience with OnPrem container Infrastructure;
- 1 year of Linux Systems Administration;
- 2 years of Scripting experience with Shell Python Ansible Terraform and YAML packages;
- Configuration management tools such as Chef Ansible or Terraform;
- Working with tools surrounding the Kubernetes ecosystem such as helm kubeadm CSI or CNI;
- CI/CD or GitOps pipeline Architecture including ArgoCD Code Fresh and Jenkins;
- Infrastructure technologies such as HP and DELL hardware (Rack servers);
- Monitoring and logging tools Prometheus Graphana Fluentbit Netcool and Humio;
- Microservices based applications traffic routing including Istio ServiceMesh; and
- Understanding of networking concepts.

Worksite: Highlands Ranch CO
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 23 set days a week (determined by leadership/site) with a general guidepost of being in the office 50 or more of the time based on business needs.
Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $116667.00 USD to $155000.00 USD per year which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on jobrelated factors which may include knowledge skills experience and location. In addition this position may be eligible for an annual bonus and equity.
