Job Description

Responsible for the proper collection labeling transportation and disposal of waste and recyclable materials in compliance with environmental federal state and local regulations and Bosch policies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety attention to detail and efficiency in waste management processes.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Transport waste and recyclable materials between the Lincolnton plant/shop floor and waste storage areas within and outside the shop floor.
  • Complete weekly waste inspections.
  • Assist with environmental and safety related communications including training alerts and waste generation review meetings.
  • Assist with environmental and safety related policy implementation.
  • Participate in plant emergency response teams. 

Qualifications :

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma
  • Ability to learn and operate equipment (i.e. forklift pallet jack hoist crane etc..
  • Read and decipher written instructions packing labels purchase orders numbers etc.
  • Demonstrate good interpersonal organizational and communication skills; both verbal and written.
  • Valid drivers license
  • 1 year(s) of experience in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous forklift experience and training
  • Waste or hazardous material handling/transportation
  • Basic knowledge of personal computer.
  • 1 year(s) of MS Office experience to include Excel and Word
