The Fresh Pasta Lead supervises the fresh pasta department and team to meet Eatalys targets mission and policies. Reports to the Fresh Market Manager.
- Manages the pasta production schedule to achieve maximum efficiency
- Monitors stock levels and makes key decisions about inventory control
- Meets with the Fresh Market Manager regularly to discuss the teams overall financial and operational status
- Order supplies and merchandise as needed
- Works alongside the team to train and develop individual operational and service skills
- Ensures standards for quality guest service and food safety and sanitation
- Submits and reviews weekly payroll for all Fresh Pasta employees
- Supervises cleaning and maintenance of equipment and arranges for repairs and other services
- Inspects production counter and storage areas to ensure that health and safety regulations are followed
- Performs other duties as required or assigned
Qualifications :
- 2 years in a retail/food service supervisory position
- Basic computer and math skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work and multitask in a fastpaced environment
- Knowledge of Italian technique and cuisine
- Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree highly preferred
Job Requirements
- Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to exert wellpaced mobility for up to 8 hours including standing walking bending and squatting
- Ability to operate equipment such as a commercial mixer and pasta machine
