Job Description
Consulting at CapTech:
- Create evaluate and manage technical solutions to ensure client success
- Partner with clients on teambased projects to deliver solutions across the full Software Development Lifecycle leveraging the Agile Methodology as well as modern technology languages frameworks and patterns
- Thrive in a collaborative environment with many opportunities to learn from and share knowledge with other developers architects and our clients.
- Design implement integrate and support onprem cloud and hybrid development
- Create roadmap and highlevel design documentation epics and stories
- Identify and communicate architectural / solution tradeoffs for client specific solutions
- Display a working knowledge of different architectural frameworks that may be used by our clients
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teammates to support business development by demonstrating CapTechs technical capabilities
Technical Solutions:
- Lead the design and architecture of Javabased solutions tailored to meet clientspecific needs.
- Create technical project estimates and work plans
- Develop code handson in addition to architecture solution
- Solutions include APIdriven clients microservice architectures eventdriven integrations cloud deployments serverless applications and web and portal front ends
Learning and Professional Development Opportunities:
- Create an individualized professional development plan
- Gain experience with a variety of different clients and industry verticals
- Influence and guide professional development efforts for those at all levels including teaching coaching and collaboration through project work and innovation challenges
- Share knowledge and common experiences with fellow CapTechers through Technical Communities of Practice and Lunch and Learns

Qualifications :
Required Qualifications:
- Experience with Java programming including popular opensource libraries and frameworks (Spring Boot)
- Applied knowledge of API Development using REST and/or GraphQL
- Familiarity with microservice architectures design patterns and monitoring tools (observability)
- Experience with database technologies both traditional (RDMS) and current (NoSQL)
- Experience with cloud providers like Azure AWS and/or GCP and familiarity with serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda Azure Functions or Google Cloud Functions
- Working knowledge of containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins ArgoCD Bitbucket
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Golang programming
- Familiarity or exposure to programming with HTML 5 CSS JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks (Angular React Vue)
- Working knowledge of JVMbased languages such as Kotlin Scala
- Experience with streaming platforms and data engineering such as Apache Kafka or Apache Spark
