Job Description
RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals Nursing Homes Home care and Community care.
We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager 3 Infection Prevention and Control for our Hospital in Dublin Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the process of project planning and strategic management.
- Create budgets and service plans in collaboration with the larger healthcare team.
- Effectively and efficiently manage personnel and other resources to guarantee the best possible service.
- Oversee and assess how the service plan and budget are being implemented.
- As needed provide activity and service reports.
- Create and oversee nursing and departmental policies paying special attention to projects construction and remodelling.
- Keep an eye on risk assessment compliance and take the lead in proactive enhancement.
- Assume control and oversee the operations of the designated area or areas.
- As needed give personnel guidance support and advise.
Requirements
- Be listed in the NMBIs general division of the Register of Nurses.
- A recognised qualification at level 9 or above in infection prevention and control
- Must have worked as an IPC in a hospital for at least three years after registration.
- Possess expertise doing risk assessments before building remodelling and other IPCrelated projects.
- Be proficient in PRINCE 2 a processbased approach to efficient management or be prepared to finish it right away.
- Understand the various projectrelated HBN/HTM recommendations.
- Understand the national and international guidelines for hospital infection prevention and control.
- Recognise infection control components on an active building site
