We are looking for a skilled Cloud Engineer to support our initiatives in developing and managing robust CI/CD pipelines for cloudbased applications. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our DevSecOps processes ensuring that all deliverables meet user acceptance criteria while adhering to security best practices. With a strong background in Azure environments and extensive experience in automation tools such as Jenkins GitLab Kubernetes and Docker the ideal candidate will be a trusted advisor in implementing industry standards and driving continuous improvement.
A current DoD Security Clearance of Secret or higher is required for this position.
Job Location: On customer site (Ft. Meade MD) with telework options. Candidates will need to be onsite at Ft Meade MD daily for the first few months then that may decrease based on customer requirements.
Requirements
Responsibilities Include:
- Work with teams to bring continuous improvement to DevSecOps processes and tools.
- Ensure work product meets user acceptance criteria
- Manage selfdirected assignments
- Meet schedule deadlines and commitments with a highlevel of quality of deliverables
- Be a trusted automation and tooling advisor for Cloud and DevSecOps initiatives by providing objective practical and relevant ideas insights and advice
- Recommend and implement industry standards
- Implement and ensure adherence to security practices and incorporate them into the automated pipelines
Clearance Requirements: DoD Security Clearance of Secret or higher
Education:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering Business or other related scientific or technical discipline
Minimum Experience:
- 5 years of DevSecOps experience
- 3 years of experience with Azure and other Cloud environments
- 3 years of experience with application and operating system security
- 3 years of handson experience creating CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins Terraform Ansible Docker Helm Nexus
- 3 years handson experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Ansible and Terraform
- 3 years of experience with Kubernetes in an Azure cloud environment
- Experience in Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban using tools such as Jira Confluence Bitbucket
Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills interpersonal and collaborative skills and the ability to communicate strategic information security topics policies and standards as well as riskrelated concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences at various organizational levels
Preferred Skills:
Certification in one or more cloud environments (Azure or AWS)
Knowledge and experience working in DoD Azure environments

Pay Range: $140000 $190000
The salary range for this position is determined based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience qualifications skill level and location. The final salary offer will fall within this range and will be commensurate with the candidate s background and the specific demands of the role.
