Job Description

This is a remote position.

About Us

Carey Marine Foundation LLC is a nonprofit environmental organization based in West Palm Beach Florida. We focus on marine conservation coastal sustainability and community outreach. Our mission is to protect marine ecosystems and inspire action for a sustainable ocean future.

Responsibilities

Support the fundraising strategy by researching potential donors grants and sponsorship opportunities

Prepare and maintain donor databases and communication logs

Assist in writing grant proposals and donor appeal letters

Coordinate with marketing for campaign planning and donor engagement content

Track donation records and ensure accurate reporting

Assist with virtual and inperson fundraising events and donor followups

Generate reports for donor development and fundraising efforts

Requirements

Prior experience in nonprofit development fundraising or donor relations

Strong writing research and communication skills

Proficiency in donor management software and Microsoft Office

Detailoriented with excellent organizational skills

Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision

Bachelor s degree in nonprofit management communications or related field (preferred)

Proven experience as a marketing executive or similar role. Strong understanding of marketing principles and strategies. Proficient in MS Office and marketing software (e.g., CRM tools). Familiarity with social media and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, WebTrends). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Creative thinker with attention to detail and audience engagement. Bachelor s degree in marketing, business administration, or related field preferred.
