Are you interested in gaining handson experience through a Student Internship opportunity as a Research and Communications Intern Business Oregon the states economic development agency is looking for a fulltime intern to join our team starting in June 2025 and continuing thru September 2025. As an intern youll work under the supervision of the Communications and Research Manager and various staff within Research and Communications section. You will have opportunity to experience Visual Design Creative Writing Research and Analysis.

Internship Details
Position Available: Research and Communications Intern (Student Professional/Technical Worker)
Duration: June 2025 September 2025. Position is 1012 weeks; timing is flexible within the summer months.
Hours: Fulltime 3240 hours per week) depending on the individual student.
Location: Hybrid position with 23 days in our Portland office and the remaining days remote.
Compensation: Paid Internship Salary Range $3427 $3854

What We Are Looking For:
We are accepting applications from students in their junior and/or senior year of college and graduate students in their first or second year at the time of hire at the time of hire (June 2025.
This position can be flexible to focus on the candidates experience and desired area of learning in at least two of the three areas of focus.

Graphic design experience
Ability to analyze data
Excellent written communication skills
Interest in government public policy law or communications
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS365
Specific proficiency in advanced use of MS Excel
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
A passion for public service and civic engagement
