Description: The Summer 2025 CKLA K5 Curriculum team will support the review and revision of the CKLA K5 ELA Pacing Calendars for theschool year. The team will meet with the K8 Director of ELA to review feedback from teachers on the current pacing calendars and scope out an updated calendar. In addition the team will work asynchronously to create a detailed scope and sequence of the mustdo lessons with the sequence of activities that help meet the MA curriculum frameworks. Members of the team will also organize gradelevel folders that will include scaffolds that have been created for each grade level. Team members will report to Louise DeSisto K8 Director of ELA/ Literacy regarding this.
Working Time/Modality: 30 Hours between May July which will include both mostly asynchronous work and some synchronous work via Zoom. Days/times will depend on the mutually agreeable preferences and schedules of curriculum leaders and the review team.
Requirements: Current assignment as a K5 Classroom Teacher EL Teacher SPED teacher using Amplify CKLA.
Preferred qualifications: three teachers per grade level (K5 who have already taught the units
Compensation: up to 30 hours or a total of $1200 per person (based on the number of teachers participating)
Number of Positions: 18 3 per grade level)
