Title: UBMS Summer Foreign Language Instructor
Salary Range: 33.00 per hour
Contract Term Length:Not Applicable
Standard Hours:Approximately 25 hours per week

Job Summary
Elizabethtown Community & Technical College Upward Bound Math & Science program is seeking a parttime temporary Foreign Language Instructor for its Summer Academy program June 2 July 12. The Foreign Language Instructor will teach various levels of one foreign language to include but not limited to Spanish French American Sign Language or Chinese.
Job Duties:
Preparing course plans and materials.
Design gradeappropriate curriculum based on Kentucky state standards of learning.
Delivering inseat courses to high school students grades 912.
Evaluating student progress.
Provide tutoring as needed.
Teach two three sections MondayFriday InPerson/ 23 virtual review sessions.
Attend instructor meetings.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a bachelors degree in STEM education counseling or related field and a minimum of one year teaching experience.

Additional Skills Requested:
The ability to meet deadlines work under pressure and adjust to changing priorities is necessary. Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes both daytime and evening hours. Must be willing to serve as a chaperone to UBMS students during the cultural trip from July.
