PURPOSE:

As a Senior Service Officer you will be responsible for contributing to the overall success of Our International Investment Advisory Team within Scotia Wealth Management by onboarding new advisor teams and client relationships to the firm along with administrative duties.

WHAT YOULL YOU BE DOING
In this role you will:

  • Support Branch Management by Completing all administrative duties including filing storage and report distribution.
  • Assist with the and implementation of procedures to ensure compliance with corporate policies and industry regulations.
  • Effective communication of status updates and followup of account opening documentation and regulatory requirements.
  • Process new account documentation and monitor all outstanding documentation such as followups resolving issues updating client info
  • Maintain and communicate status of all work in progress to direct manager and multiple Advisor teams
  • Build effective working relationships across the team and with various business line and corporate function contacts
  • Maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Encourage the generation of new ideas and approaches

DO YOU HAVE THE SKILLS
We would love to work with you if you have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of Microsoft systems: Word Excel and PowerPoint
  • Previous full service brokerage experience
  • Secondary education
  • Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese anasset
  • Licensed as an Investment Representative through CIRO considered an asset (CSC CPH IR Training)
