Opportunity
PeopleTec is currently seeking a System Administrator to support our Huntsville AL location.
We are seeking a System Administrator interested in joining an awardwinning company and working with cuttingedge missile defense modeling and simulation technologies. The selected candidate will be a member of a dynamic Huntsvillebased team working on stateoftheart systemofsystems frameworks by designing configuring installing and securing information systems for development and testing. This is a fulltime onsite position.
Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience:
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Ansible or similar technology
- Cloud computing using Azure AWS or similar technology
- Linux servers domain controllers network storage devices HP or Dell servers
- Linux Operating System Administration e.g. RHEL8 3 years)
- Designing configuring and installing information systems including routers switches storage systems and laptops
- Security certification (within 90 days of start)
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.
Education Requirements:
Bachelors degree from accredited college in related discipline with 5 years professional experience in Systems Administration; OR Masters degree with 3 years professional experience; OR PhD with no experience
Desired Skills:
- Deployment of complete DevSecOps lifecycle including integration of build pipelines automated deployments and compliance scanning using test driven development
- Vulnerability remediation and security management including system hardening log management and configuration management e.g. Nessus McAfee WSUS Splunk ACAS SCAP HBSS
- Virtualization e.g. VMware Horizon vSphere vCenter vSAN
- Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) implementation
- Issue tracking tools e.g. GitLab VersionOne Agility
