The Company & The Role
Our client is looking for a professional and motivated Corporate Affairs Manager to join their Corporate Affairs Team of 3 experienced staff. The Corporate Affairs Manager will be reporting to the Partner and will be responsible for the other 2 staff in the team.
The Duties
Oversee and drive the team with handson duties such as:
- Company registrations
- Setting up discretionary and unit trusts
- Keeping up on ASIC and software changes and attending BGL seminars and user groups
- Preparing and lodging ASIC documents
- Registration and maintenance of business names
- Fee preparation and management
- Assisting with client queries and tasks as required
The Applicant
- Strong practical experience with ASIC compliance and general corporate secretarial duties
- Experience in ASIC/Corporate Affairs
- Experience with BGL CAS 360 (or other version of BGL) is essential for this role
- Experience in APS software is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills attention to detail and accuracy
- Display client relationship and client service abilities
- Strong knowledge of and exposure to the Microsoft Office suite of products.
