JOB TITLE:
Wyoming Athletics Marketing/Fan Experience Internship
JOB PURPOSE:
The Wyoming Athletics Marketing Intern is part of the Marketing and Fan Experience team. We are looking for proactive and responsible students to assist with the overall of marketing initiatives and promote the Wyoming Athletics brand on and offcampus for the upcoming 202526 athletics season.This position will begin August 2025.
Marketing interns will assist in creating memorable experiences for Wyoming fans and help with the overall objectives of the Marketing and Fan Experience team to promote all 17 sports at the University of Wyoming. Interns will be expected to have regular office hours and help with gamedays for Wyoming Athletics. The ideal intern is positive eager to learn proactive teamoriented and able to multitask.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop fan affinity for the Wyoming Athletics brand through various initiatives including the Wyoming Kids Club student engagement and outreach to Cowboys/Cowgirls fans locally and around the state
- Assist in the coordination of National Anthem performers halftime acts group experiences and group attendance at Wyoming Athletics events
- Assist in the management of fan experience elements at Cowboy Football games through the Pepsi Pregame Zone onfield promotions etc.
- Oversee marketing efforts for select Wyoming Athletics programs and initiatives under the supervision of fulltime marketing staff
- Other duties as assigned
WORK LOCATION:
This position provides vital support to campus customers and requires the successful candidate be available to work on campus.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: High School Enrolled as a student at the University of Wyoming.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to work in a timesensitive teamoriented environment
- Must have high energy be enthusiastic and display positivity regarding the Wyoming Athletics brand
- Must have the ability to remain on your feet and be active for extended periods of time
- Must be reliable punctual courteous and have good listening and multitasking skills
- Must possess strong communication skills and be able to communicate with members of the public
- Must be available to work home athletic events for the 202526 athletics season (including all 6 home football games) and maintain regular weekly office hours
- Must be able to arrive several hours before gametime for athletic events
- Must be available to work both fall and spring semesters
