Job Description
Banyan Search is looking for a Payroll Manager to take charge of payroll operations and HRIS administration for a growing multientity organization. In this role youll oversee endtoend payroll processing ensure benefit accuracy and maintain data integrity across systemsall while leading and supporting the payroll team.
What Youll Do
- Manage weekly and biweekly payroll for 1000 employees
- Ensure accurate timekeeping pay approvals and benefit tracking
- Oversee payroll system data and outsourced tax filings
- Reconcile payroll between Kronos Workforce Ready and Sage 300 CRE
- Maintain compliance with benefit plans and support annual audits
- Ensure timely payments to vendors contractors and garnishment recipients
- Train and support managers on system use and workflow updates
- Continuously improve payroll processes and support internal audits
What You Bring
- 5 years of payroll experience including 2 years in a supervisory role
- Solid knowledge of payroll best practices accounting basics and compliance regulations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Experience with Kronos Workforce Ready Sage 300 or similar systems
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with MS Office
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or equivalent preferred
- Bachelors degree preferred
