Job Description
A thriving economy in space is needed to make life on Earth more vibrant sustainable and equitable. Space technology will enable global access to information solutions to climate change answers to global food security products that transform healthcare clean energy production and more. Today rocket launch options are slow expensive and unreliable. Stoke is building the worlds most efficient fully and rapidly reusable rocket designed to fly daily that will radically increase access to space and open up the space economy to safeguard our precious home Earth.

As an intern you will work on real openended problems that directly contribute to the success of the company. You will work closely with your mentor and other employees who will help you apply your knowledge and grow your skills through highimpact projects. You must be ready to stay focused move fast selfdirect and learn on the fly.
Internships are available across the company within engineering teams such as mechanical test avionics and manufacturing.
Please note: this role requires you to work onsite either at our Kent Moses Lake or Cape Canaveral location.
Qualifications
- Pursuing Bachelors or Masters degree in mechanical engineering aerospace engineering electrical engineering computer engineering computer science or a similar STEM field
- Exceptional command of engineering fundamentals
- Handson engineering experience through internships personal projects work or teams
- Ability to manage a complex technical project and take it through
- Ability to learn and apply state of the art techniques to technical projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Able to work fulltime onsite for a minimum of 1012 consecutive weeks
Preferred qualifications for various teams:
Mechanical:
Projectlevel experience with mechanical thermodynamic or fluid design and analysis. CAD proficiency and working as part of a team a plus
Manufacturing:
Hands on experience building things or working in a machine shop
Avionics:
Designing testing and integrating PCBs test equipment and/or harnessing
Test Operations:
Any hands on experience building things or performing hazardous ops (pressure testing cryogenic handling etc.

Compensation
- Freshman/Sophomore: $28.00/hour
- Junior/Senior: $30.00/hour
- Completed Bachelors: $35.00/hour
- Completed Masters: $40.00/hour
