The Role
Theatre and Events is seeking casual oncall support technicians to join our team
The key duties will include but are not limited to:
Set up and take down of the events throughout NWP
Assisting with operations of productions in the Theatre
Running sound and light systems
Operating follow spot
Load in and load out
Travel between the GP and Fairview Campus as required to help out with events
Other duties as assigned

Requirements
The successful candidate will have the following necessary skills and attributes to be successful in this role include:
- proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook;
- strong organizational and multitasking skills;
- Technical aptitude required
- Prior audio and lighting experience is required
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- ability to build strong relationships across the organization
- a high level of integrity professionalism and accountability.
- Class 5 Divers license
- Ability to lift over 50 lbs
- Must be able to work on a flexible oncall schedule including weekends evenings and daytime
- Aerial lift certification and fall protection certification are preferred
- Ability to problemsolve and think on your feet
