Ninyo & Moore has an immediate opening for a PartTime and/or OnCall Drafting Assistant in our Irvine California office (San Diego or Bay area also possible). We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD / Technical Illustrator to support our geotechnical and environmental teams. Under the direction of the Lead Technical Illustrator the selected candidate will prepare a variety of highquality technical drafting figures such as geologic maps cross sections and related items for project reports and proposals. This is a parttime position with potential for additional hours based on workload.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare technical figures for proposals as well as geotechnical environmental and materials testing reports.
- Effectively manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities under tight schedules.
- Communicate and coordinate with Project Managers and technical staff to clarify figure requirements and deliverables.
- Use office equipment including computers scanners copiers and largeformat plotters.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience using AutoDesk AutoCAD.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D ArcPro MicroStation BIM and Golden Software is a plus.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Software (Word Excel Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy and precision.
- Certification in Drafting is preferred.
- Willingness to learn additional software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced deadlinedriven environment.
Status:Parttime and/or OnCall; inoffice initially with hybrid option potentially available after training and probationary period is complete
