Elsewhere Entertainment is looking for an Expert Gameplay Designer to join the development of a new IP.
Feed your creativity while collaborating with our team of highly skilled developers to build something innovative exhilarating and expansively entertaining!
As a member of the Design department youll work closely with our gameplay engineering and art teams to deliver stateoftheart combat and player experience.
As a member of the project youll help take the studio and our game from great to even betterwith a focus on inclusivity mutual respect (for ourselves and our players) thoughtfulness empathy professionalism and collaboration.
Youll help us by
Writing both Detailed and High Level documentation defining the flow and player experience when engaging in Combat.
Designing documenting and working with multiple other disciplines to deliver the best player combat experience.
Guiding Combat implementation team through every step of development and seeing features built to completion.
Clearly communicating complex ideas to our diverse development team.
Helping with combat design implementation by using objectoriented scripting languages database and animation tools.
Youre awesome because you have
Great command of the English language
At least 5 years of professional game industry experience
Strong understanding of objectoriented programming
Clear grasp of all the steps needed to deliver a highquality combat experience
At least one shipped AAA or AA game
The ability to look at the big picture
The ability to collaborate and thrive as part of a creative team
Creativity in problem solving and a positive respectful teamfirst attitude
Organization methods and the ability to meet deadlines
Comfort with selfcritique and accepting outside feedback
A habit of regularly playing and understanding modern video games
Bonus points for
Experience working with various development engines
Experience in leading teams to success
Advanced communication skills
Enjoyment of playing a variety of video game genres and titles
