Job Description
Position: Civil Construction Project Manager
TrisianGlobal Consulting LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Construction Project Manager to manage and overseeing the planning design and of various civil construction projects. This is a fulltime permanent position located in Union IL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage all aspects of civil construction projects including budgeting scheduling procurement and resource allocation
- Develop project plans timelines and budgets in collaboration with the project team
- Monitor project progress and ensure that all milestones are met within the given time and budget constraints
- Oversee the selection and management of subcontractors suppliers and vendors
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Review and approve project documentation including contracts RFIs change orders and progress reports
- Plan all construction operations and scheduling intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
- Supervise the work of laborers mechanics etc. and provide guidance when needed
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report any issues
- Communicate effectively with clients stakeholders and team members to provide project updates and address any issues or concerns
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and conflicts that may arise during the project
- Ensure all project documentation and reports are accurate and uptodate
- Provide leadership and guidance to project team members including engineers architects and contractors
- Maintain a strong understanding of industry standards regulations and best practices to ensure project success and compliance
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in civil engineering Construction Management or related field
- Proven experience managing largescale civil projects
- Must be able to read blueprints.
- In depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
- Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Familiarity with construction/project management software. Procore Foundation Bid 2 Win and Trimble is a plus
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- A team player with leadership abilities
- PMP or equivalent certification is a plus
