System Architect Cloudian S3 Storage mf

ARHS Group part of Accenture is looking for a System Architect Cloudian S3 Storage (m/f) to join a key project for a European Institution. Youll design and support secure scalable Cloudian S3compatible storage solutions in close collaboration with cloud and DevOps teams.

THE WORK:

• Design and Deploy: Architect and design Cloudian S3 storage solutions in cloud and hybrid environments to meet business and application requirements.
• Storage Management: Manage Cloudian S3 storage clusters ensuring high availability reliability and efficient storage usage.
• Backup and Recovery: Design recovery and disaster recovery strategies using S3compatible object storage systems.
• Monitoring & Optimization: Proactively monitor storage performance capacity using HyperIQ for AIpowered analytics and insights.
• HyperBalance: Ensure optimal load distribution across storage nodes maximizing performance and reducing bottlenecks.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure that storage solutions comply with security standards encryption protocols and relevant data privacy.
• Integrations: Work with crossfunctional teams to integrate S3 object storage with various enterprise applications databases and cloudnative tools.
• Automation: Develop and implement automation scripts to manage storage lifecycles backups and provisioning using tools like Terraform Ansible.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to storage performance data loss access and security.
• Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for storage architecture policies configurations and disaster recovery plans.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with DevOps Network and Cloud teams to ensure seamless integration and support of business applications.

HERES WHAT YOULL NEED:

• EU citizenship.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• 10 years of experience in storage engineering cloud infrastructure or a similar role with a focus on S3 and object storage systems.
• HyperBalance: Experience with HyperBalance for efficient load distribution across nodes in object storage environments.
• HyperIQ: Expertise in using HyperIQ for monitoring analytics and improving overall system reliability through AIdriven insights.
• Cloud Platforms: Experience with public cloud platforms like AWS Azure or Google Cloud particularly using S3 APIs or similar object storage services.
• Storage Protocols & Tools: Knowledge of object storage protocols and tools (e.g. AWS S3 NFS CIFS and REST APIs).
• Disaster Recovery: Proficiency in designing and implementing backup replication and disaster recovery strategies using S3compatible storage.
• Automation: Familiarity with automation tools like Terraform Ansible or PowerShell for storage management and infrastructureascode (IaC).
• Security & Compliance: Understanding of encryption authentication and access control mechanisms to ensure secure storage environments.
• Monitoring Tools: Experience with monitoring and alerting tools for performance management capacity planning and uptime (e.g. HyperIQ Prometheus Grafana Nagios).
• Troubleshooting Skills: Strong problemsolving skills with a deep understanding of object storage operations network connectivity and performance tuning.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

• SAFe certification (SAFe Architect SAFe Agilist or similar).
• Experience in managing Agile teams and familiarity with Agile methodologies particularly in the context of SAFe.
• Demonstrated experience with Cloudian HyperStore HyperBalance HyperIQ or similar distributed storage platforms.
• Knowledge of hybrid cloud storage setups (integrating onprem and cloud storage solutions).
• Experience with containerized environments like Docker and Kubernetes (using object storage with Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with data migration and replication strategies for largescale storage environments.
