Battery Originator

As a Battery Product Manager you will focus on this emerging market where Flexcity aims to be a market leader. You will play a key role in sourcing and closing new battery contracts. You will have work internationally but with a particular focus on the Dutch market. 

Within the Product Team you will be part of the Battery Team. This crossfunctional team includes data scientists software developers local sales and local portfolio managers. 

This role offers a blend of Business Development and product Management responsibilities with the exact balance tailored to our current business needs and your individual strengths.

Business Development 70

• Commercial

  • Coordinate Presales activity with inhouse expert team

  • Be responsible for endtoend sales cycle responsibility (inception to contract signing) of big clients 

  • Perform contract negotiations

• Strategic

  • Stay up to date on the optimisation market in assigned countries

  • Build a network in the BESS niche 

  • Stay up to date and understand the latest developments in new flexible products.

• Regulatory

  •  Stay up to date on regulatory requirements for BESS optimisations
     

Product Management 30

• Product management

  • Coordinate between clients/commercial teams and internal developers

  • Translate project requirements to technical specifications and coordinate efforts of  Data Scientists and Developers. 

• Project management

  • Be end responsible for project implementation of new batteries

  • Coordinate project implementation with local teams 

• Standardisation and communication

  • Create a packaged offering that can be rolled out

  • Advocate and build experience internally 

Qualifications :

Hard Skills

• Fluent in English and French or Dutch trilingual being a strong plus
