Job Description
Cornerstone Building Brands is looking for a production scheduler to support our Fortify Building Solutions shop in Benton AR. This is a great opportunity to continue in your building materials career or build upon warehouse experience. The Production Scheduler will coordinate schedules and inventories to ensure efficient planning of when jobs are performed and scheduled to get the most efficient workflow and quickest turnaround for our customers products.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serves as a primary point of contact for and liaison with sales logistics the building department and manufacturing departments
- Collaborates with these departments to establish schedules and plans that allocate available resources to best serve customer needs
- Works closely with inventory control to anticipate the order of raw materials; uses judgment to anticipate demand for and to acquire additional supplies as needed
- Maintains distribution schedule for the assigned facility; revises as needed and alerts appropriate staff of schedule changes or delays
- Performs other related duties as required
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma Required bachelors degree in a related field preferred
- At least five years of related experience required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Thorough understanding of the business and supply chain
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Strong computer knowledge and able to learn ERP systems
