Crewing Manager
(Based in Vishakhapatnam)
ORGANIZATION: This strategic role is focused on overseeing crewing activities for a fleet of dry cargo and tanker vessels ensuring operational excellence talent development and alignment with global standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead crewing strategy and talent planning to meet future fleet requirements
- Build manage and enhance crew sourcing pipelines in line with company needs
- Drive quality standards across crew assessment development and retention
- Champion technological and human capital improvements for competitive advantage
- Oversee daytoday branch operations employee engagement and administration
- Manage budgets related to crewing and office overheads
- Lead and develop highperforming teams to deliver continuous improvement and compliance
Requirements
- You must be a qualified Marine Engineer or equivalent diploma holder in marine/navigation.
- Previous sailing experience holding a Class 1 CoC (FG) is a must.
- Fresh Chief Engineers with minimum 12 months sailing experience may also apply.
- Experience or interest crewing or fleet personnel role within ship management
- Strong understanding of the crewing landscape especially for dry and tanker fleets
- Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and drive operational performance
- Strategic mindset with handson approach to people development and process optimization
- Well updated with the latest regulatory requirements and its implementation.
- Able to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines
