Adelphi is seeking a Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide services at a facility in Arkadelphia Arkansas. The ideal candidate will deliver highquality occupational therapy services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities including individuals with cooccurring psychiatric conditions. Focus will be placed on enhancing daily living skills promoting cognitive and physical function preventing functional decline and supporting overall independence and quality of life in a structured longterm care environment.

Requirements:
Must be licensed as an Occupational Therapist by the Arkansas State Medical Board
Minimum of seven 7 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities in a longterm care setting
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy services to residents as ordered by a physician
Conduct evaluations for new referrals within 14 days; include testing analysis recommendations and summary
Create therapy plans based on ICF/IID and CARF standards in collaboration with the client s Interdisciplinary Team
Provide training and supervision to AHDC staff on occupational therapy interventions and use of rehabilitation equipment
Participate in: Initial and annual IDT meetings Medical staff meetings (monthly) IPP sessions (Initial 30Day Review and Annual) and Discharge planning
Provide emergency oncall occupational therapy services as needed
Submit timely documentation including: Monthly and annual evaluations with written training plans and developmental goals IPPcompliant therapy records (ICF standard W319 and Treatment plans progress notes discharge summaries and goals
Immediately report all incidents as per DHS Policy 1090
Assess facility and patient equipment needs and assist AHDC in procuring costeffective compliant equipment
Comply with HIPAA ICF/IID CARF standards and all applicable laws and DHS policies
Any other duties as assigned
