Join our innovative team at the forefront of device to satellite communication technology! Were seeking a versatile RF/Electrical Engineer to play a critical role in developing and enhancing our advanced satellite payload systems. This position involves a wide range of responsibilities including analysis design implementation and optimization of communication payloads for a unique satellite network. Youll be involved in link budget analysis system dimensioning coverage planning and interference analysis. Additionally youll support the iterative design and testing of payload hardware and software working with softwaredefined radios singleboard computers FPGAs and various RF components. Expect handson work with test equipment circuit assembly and software configuration. This role requires a proactive individual who can thrive in a dynamic environment and contribute to solving complex technical challenges.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or higher in RF or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in developing space payload hardware and software particularly for communications systems.
- Handson experience with softwaredefined radios (SDRs) antennas FPGAs CPUs and singleboard computers.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. C C Python MATLAB).
- Experience working with Linuxbased systems.
- Familiarity with hardware description languages (VHDL or Verilog) and FPGA development tools.
- Strong understanding of RF air interfaces and multiple access schemes (TDMA FDMA etc..
- Experience integrating hardware and software systems.
- Proficiency with standard office software (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite).
- Knowledge of communication/networking protocols (e.g. TCP/IP Ethernet LTE GSM).
