Welding and Install Technician

Hourly Pay Rate: $23.0032.00 (Based on experience)
Candidates hired for this role will receive a $4500 Sign On Bonus payable after 90 days continuous service; and be eligible for a Tool Reimbursement Program of up to $1500 per calendar year
Typical working hours MondayFriday 7am3:30pm. Onthejob and factory training will be provided to help you be successful in this exciting role.
Responsibilities:
- Build various types of vocational trucks through assembly hydraulic 12v electrical and fabrication skills
- Accurately read required measuring tools (caliper tape measure square etc.
- Read hydraulic schematics hose and fitting assembly routing and plumbing
- Follow installation procedures and established standard
- Weld in various positions; Vertical flat overhead etc.
- Aluminum welding
- Clean weld splatter and welding slag
- Wire harness assembly routing and terminating
- Utilize various power tools as needed for builds such as drill impact wrench air ratchet grinders iron worker etc..
- Perform other job0related duties assigned by management
Requirements
- Technical understanding of hydraulics electrical and primary functions of a broad range of equipment used in our industry
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of basic hydraulics and 12 volt electrical systems
- Knowledge of wiring stop/start systems and ability to use programmer
- Knowledge of sizes of fittings and hydraulic hoses
- Able to operate saw for cutting steel operate plasma cutter use oxygen/acetylene torch
- Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics
- Mechanical design and/or practical experience in hydraulics structural or mechanical layout
- Strong mechanical ability
- Technical college degree desired or structured on the job training program
- 2 years of experience in the field service of heavy equipment is desired
