Lead Business Analyst Financial Risk Technology
Our client in the insurance industry is seeking a highly motivated professional to support a major initiative within their Corporate Functions Technology group. This role is part of the Risk Technology division which focuses on operational and financial risk regulatory reporting and advanced analytics. The selected individual will help drive datainformed decisionmaking across functions such as marketing HR finance and risk through the use of modern Microsoftbased tools.
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with IT architects the data office and key internal stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements develop business intelligence solutions and support delivery efforts. Responsibilities also include mentoring offshore team members ensuring adherence to delivery best practices and contributing to the of scalable enterprisegrade solutions.
What is in it for you:
Salaried: $32 to $37 per hour.
Incorporated Business Rate: $39 to $44 per hour.
8month contract.
Fulltime position: 37.50 hours per week.
Weekday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm.
Hybrid work: 3 office days from Tuesday to Thursday.
Possible extension and conversion to fulltime employment.
Responsibilities:
Interact with end users to understand their data and reporting needs.
Analyze and document business requirements.
Collaborate with architects the data office and internal IT stakeholders to support solution design.
Ensure alignment with project stakeholders and delivery best practices.
Support the development of datadriven solutions using Microsoft technologies including Azure SQL Server Power BI Power Apps and Power Automate.
Assist junior offshore team members by answering questions and providing guidance.
Provide necessary information to architects to support technical planning and implementation.
What you will need to succeed:
Bachelor s degree in computer science computer engineering mathematics or a related technical field.
Master s degree preferred.
4 years of experience as a business analyst or junior analyst.
Familiarity with Microsoft technologies such as SQL and Microsoft Azure.
Experience building OLAP and OLTPbased data analytics and business intelligence systems.
Proficiency in requirement gathering and Business Requirements Documentation (BRD).
Handson experience with Power BI Power Apps and Power Automate.
Familiarity with banking insurance risk and financial risk management domains.
Strong communication stakeholder management and time management skills.
Demonstrated adaptability and effective problemsolving abilities.
