Job Description
- Responsible for designing and executing test plans that align with both functional specifications and user expectations within financial software contexts
- Collaborate directly with developers to understand new features and defect resolutions contributing to efficient problemsolving through active communication
- Use SQL to perform database queries that support thorough testing and help uncover datarelated issues
- Employ tools like Postman to test APIs and Jira to report track and follow up on defects and improvements
- Contribute to defining internal QA processes and ensuring alignment with audit standards and corporate quality guidelines
- Monitor testing metrics to assess performance identify risks and proactively suggest areas for process refinement
- Participate in quality assurance across digital channels including web platforms mobile applications and backend services
- Ensure that testing efforts meet highquality standards and are aligned with the organization s objectives and expectations
Requirements
- Handson experience in software quality assurance including the development and documentation of test plans
- Ability to design comprehensive testing strategies that cover both functional and nonfunctional aspects of financial products based on customer requirements and technical specifications
- Strong collaboration skills to work closely with development teams ensuring clear understanding of new features and bug fixes for accurate and timely testing
- Practical knowledge of SQL for running database queries during test cycles allowing for effective data validation and issue identification
- Familiarity with QA and testing tools such as Postman for API validation and Jira for bug tracking and workflow management
- Understanding of Agile methodologies with experience using tools like Jira and Confluence to manage sprints backlogs and documentation
- Knowledge of how to define update and enforce internal quality procedures aligning them with industry best practices and audit recommendations
- Ability to ensure companywide testing standards are maintained and adhered to across projects
- Experience reviewing quality metrics to detect areas of improvement or deviations from expected standards
- Exposure to testing across multiple platforms including websites mobile applications and APIs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to contribute effectively in collaborative team environments
- Working proficiency in both English and Spanish
- Availability to work according to Spainbased working hours
- Intermediatelevel understanding of testing within web app and API environments and basic familiarity with SQL Jira and Confluence
