Job Description
We are seeking a PartTime Senior Accountant to join a fantastic firm of chartered accountants based in Ramsgate. This is a varied general practice position which will offer valuable experience and exciting challenges. Our client is open to candidates looking to work 3 or 4 days a week. Our client is a wellestablished and marketleading firm of chartered accountants who provide a mixed accountancy service to a range of ownermanaged business clients across Kent.
In this role you will:
- Plan prepare and review accounts bookkeeping and VAT for a variety of clients
- Prepare personal tax returns and corporation tax returns
- Assist clients with their accounting software including Xero Sage and QuickBooks
- Ensure work is being undertaken in the most efficient manner
- Provide ad hoc support to the partners
- Train and mentor trainees within the department
- Handle client queries in a positive and clientfocused manner
Requirements
- You will be AAT or ACA/ACCA qualified part qualified or qualified by experience.
- You will have 36 years experience within practice and have handson experience of preparing accounts and tax work for clients.

You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3 years experience within practice. You will have worked as Semi Senior or Senior accountant within practice Experience of Iris and cloud software such as Xero/ Quickbooks would be advantageous
